You know those red and blue text windows that show up when you install redhat linux in text mode? What are they written in? I thought they where written in dialog. But looking on my box at things like netconfig, it's a c program using newt and slang. But other things like up2date are in python. newt looks like it's the low level api for window management. I'm guessing there are several language bindings to newt?
