I used the IRC channel, and still got nowhere. Smoothwall is fine for now, but asshole developers tend to ruin projects. I'm anxiously awaiting the new version of Mandrake SNF. Development started on it in the last couple of days, and it will sport a 2.4 kernel. Of course, it will probably take time for them to get everything ported over to iptables support. I'd opt for the irc channel (info on their web site) as richard seems to moderate the mailing list with his thrashing anger, however, as Jay pointed out, good luck.
