How happy/clickey do you want this to be?
How much data are you backing up?
Do you want to overwrite old backups?
If not, how many do you want to keep, or should they
die at a certain age?

These are just questions to get more of a flavor
of what you are looking for, though we can assume
you won't be backing up more than 100 or 250 MB
(which one is it?) compressed because of your
choice of medium...
