I've got some printers that are being served by both a linux lpd server and a windows print server. Apparently, when a linux client sends a job to the printer, it works great, but subsequent windows jobs either hang or print very slowly. Is there something you can configure in lpd to 'reset' the printer somehow so the windows jobs will run ok? Thx. -- Amy Tanner amy at real-time.com
