sorry if this is a past topic... i dont want to boil anyones blood again.

Im currently a qmail user, been very happy with it. i use it with
uw-imap, tcpserver for selective relaying, and squirrelmail for webemail
access.

I am going to need to be providing some email to other folks, and could
run into more complex relaying issues than i am set to handle. Im going
to be hosting email for a company, and i can allow their IP from work
thru, but as soon as anyone wants to check thier email from home...
trouble, unless i can talk them into using webmail.

I think (from courier-mta.org) that courier can handle this better, and
it comes with many feautres like ldap integration, ssl, imap/pop/webmail
as a part of the package.

is there any experience in the group with qmail vs courier (the whole pkg).

thanks.
