Ok, I upgraded my workstation to SuSE 7.1 with XFree86 4.0. I ran the setup, sax2, and enabled hardware acceleration. The 3D screensavers are _really_ fast now. This is a good thing. However when I switch back to the console I can't see much and my keyboard seems to be confused there and I get some funny horizontal line working it's way down my screen.
