I think what you want is the live-eval 7.1 ISO. That would give you a 2.4 
Kernel and KDE 2.0.1 (if you want it.) If you want a 2.2.x Kernel then go 
with the 7.0 eval. 

The eval is all the stuff you need. I used to run a lab server off a 5.3, 
then 6.0 eval disk. It is essentially what you'd get from Cheapbytes or LSL 
if you ordered a $2.00 SuSE CD-ROM.
