I have three identical cards (only two slots) so what am I to do. The only 
thing is I have only been able to use one at a time. If I do
/sbin/modprobe ne io=0x240
then that nic will work.
/sbin/modprobe ne io=0x340
and that one is free.
I have yet to find the place in the init scripts to load the io params. I add 
it to the /etc/modules.conf, but that did no good. I am very pleased to get 
the nic running under Linux. What a real operating system! I should probably 
attend a meeting or something on netcat to fully take advantage of my new 
router/gw.
