I would definately set my HW clock to GMT time for a server. This way
you don't have to worry about daylight savings on your HW clock. (OS
should take care of it) But for a desktop you might want to stick to
your local timezone. Especially if you're dual-booting since Windows
(AFAIK) doesn't really like to use GMT time.
