I vaguely remember reading that jetdirect cards expect communication on port 9000 (or 9001, or something like that) and that you had to designate that in the config file: :rm=skinner at 9000:\ or something close (since ":" is already used as a separator). or maybe even :rm=skinner 9100: You might also try the fqdn.
