Yeah! Instead you can pay more than me so you can use a propretary
storage format *cough*memory sitck*cough* thats locked down so only sony
and 'licensed' people can make media *cough*magic gate*cough*.

SanDisk CF readers are cheap, use USB, and are excellent in linux.
Plus, more than one company makes media, and prices actually fall.

And, I didn't have to buy all from one vendor for what I can use my CF
media in.  Ive personally got products from IBM and Kodak that use CF.
