At the risk of showing my ignorance I probably do not understand most of what is said on this list. Trying to learn Linux at an entry level I think is difficult. When I say difficult it is cause I do not have a shoulder to look over or observe someone else. Most of the admins on here talk in command line language and I want to start with the GUI. So anyway good or bad I don't understand most. So my question is how many people on this list are like myself and maybe I am the lone ranger. Anyway if you are trying to learn Linux and don't feel you have a good place or way to do that I would like to know. I am going to try a very unofficial/unscientific survey to discover a number that may want/need more help.
