I believe Perry is referring to the cursed Deskjet 720/820/1020 Series.
In order to use these color deskjet printers, you need to use the
reverse engineered pnm2ppa drivers.  Debian packages them (oh,
wait...I'm the maintainer *grin*).  And I believe you can find them at:
