I've had the same address since 23 March, 2001.  It has survived
probably a half-dozen reboots, one extended power outage (> 4 hours)
and a drop-me-off-the-network by RR.  Not bad, IMO, for a dynamic
address.

As an aside, through a former employer, I was working with an ISP in
the UK which had provided us with a dynamic address ISDN line.  I kid
you not, even when you stayed connected, your address changed more
than once every 5 minutes.
