Linux has no problem reading and wrighting a windows partition, it get's
mounted lust like a cd-rom.  I have Mandrake 8.0 installed and it
automaticaly detects windows partitions and mounts them for you.  It
even puts an icon on your desktop with the name of the partition in it.
