The red switch in the back I thought was to change the voltage > from US to European. not all PS'es have power switches, unfortunately. :( I miss the days of AT power supplies; where 'off' meant 'OFF'; and physically disconnected power, instead of controlling some fiddly little solid-state bits which may or may not decide to do what the switch tells them to do.
