I for one am eager to listen to you and yours rant on the topic of DNS. I am using a distro called Smoothwall for a firewall at the moment. It has many shortcomings. One of them is its proxy dns. It is called dnrd, and it has limitations. I am unable to maintain my own zones. That is what I find myself in need of at the moment. But then again, do I want to run DNS on a firewall?
