That doesn't make much sense to me. Xconfigurator isn't really a RedHat
thing, is it?  Anyway, all it does is provide you a pleasant interface for
writing XF86Config. There are alternatives, including xf86config, which
comes with the distribution. Worst case, if the thing you're using doesn't
work quite right, you go read a couple docs and tweak the XF86Config by
hand. 

What video card are you concerned about?
