That was a typo on my part, it is "search mn.rr.com"  Still don't know why debian's resolve.conf is "search mn.rr.com\000"

I think I may just try RH7.1, I'm having pretty good speed from the U of Michigan FTP on the ISO.

Not sure how this would cause it, but there should be a space between search
and mn, not a period.  Otherwise those look like the right IP's.
