I started my first kernel hack today. Some fine folks at the installfest/linux conference motivated me in the right direction. As is with all things good, it ended too soon. So, my post is this. I am currently doing make menuconfig I then plan to do make dep make clean make bizimage make modules make install If I forgot something or did it in the incorrect order I will soon know, for now is the future. I will let you know how my first kernel hack went. It is probably a part of history now though. It reminds me of some cheezy "first blood" b movie or something. -Spencer Underground
