Um, no offense, but there's a difference between building an operating
system, which can be abstractly defined to do whatever you want it to and
physical research.  I haven't heard of too many open source moon shots,
though there's probably more than a few of us that would love to dig in.

That said, I'd still like to see Vorbis do it, but I won't put any money
