Make a deb. You can do anything you want to with those scripts, they are just
shell scripts written by the packager and are only limited by the shell
environ. I think I have seem interactive rpms. Not sure sure where to find
docs, maybe redhat.com? 

debian.org has all the documentation you'd need for making packages.
