I know his open-source linux slam, might be flame bait, but what expectations
are not going to be met this year by linux?

Slamming linux is always bound to get lots of hits on your site, but I am
seriously interested in what he is talking about.

Scalability in processors, RAM, fs, etc, are all addressed in 2.4.

Maybe jfs stuff?
