Good morning *,

I don't know if any of you have read Neal Stephenson's "Cryptonomicon." I
just finished it and enjoyed it very much. I have two questions,
however. (Don't worry, they're not spoilers.)

1. Why does he refer to Linux as "Finux" throughout the book?

2. Does the ETC (Electric Till Corporation) in the book correspond to NCR or
IBM in real life?
