...Which is why there is an NT port of Samba. 

It seems kindof stupid to run Samba on an NT box (which already talks
SMB), but if you use Samba and disable the NT "Server" service, supposedly
you can use a 1 user NT Server license to serve unlimited clients (since
Samba is handling the users, not NT)
