I enabled kernel logging on my Redhat 6.2 box and the entry in /etc/syslog.conf for it is: kern.* /var/log/kernel/kernel And it is logging just fine. The problem is it is also logging them to /var/log/messages/messages as well...Is this the correct behavior or is something, as i think it is, amiss?
