Curtly remind them of how much of a pain it would be to sue you when you
move back into the states if they feel that you have broken-their-rules.

Personally, the confidentaility agreements only work if the 'ideas' are
thigns that were discussed internally, but never made it to code or
text. When/if they make it to code/text, there is very little they can
use saying "But that was a trade secret!".

Still. Thats fscking weird.  I hope RMS/FSF take a look at your
precidiment.
