No, you should not need to. Threads are a native part of Java. BUT it seems like there's some built in java classes that you're not finding now. Could be that you've got the xeena libraries in now, but don't have the jdk .jar files or the classes.zip (this looks like an old version of the jdk) in the classpath. Try finding the classes.zip file in your jdk directory and adding that to the classpath. You shouldn't need to use this --- there are two ways to use threads in java; you can use the internal ones, where java does the multiprocessing itself, or use native threads.
