What you want is Video for Linux (v4l) and there is a HOWTO covering it.
Between the Hardware Compatibility HOWTO and the v4l HOWTO, you should
be able to find a card that works with your system.  I'm using a
Hauppauge WinTV card along-side my TNT2 and it works great.
