What's your definition of scalable?  That it makes use of multiple
processors, handles applications that have large RAM usage, lots of threads,
what?  

I'm testing the IBM JDK on my PIII using a fairly-highly threaded DB
frontend application and it seems quite zippy.  I also like the fact that
_debugging_ means _debugging_...none of the old blackdown "debugging doesn't
work" shit.
