This past weekend I downloaded and compiled the 2.4.0-test7 kernel on my
laptop. After a nice long compile on my smoking P133, it spit out a
bzImage. I tried adding it to LILO, and when I do a lilo -v it tells me
that my 'kernel image is too large'. In comparison, a 2.5 MB kernel image
does seem rather large. I've never compiled a 2.3.x or a 2.4.x until this
point so I don't know how big the image is supposed to be. The only
modification I made to the kernel is adding all the USB stuff in. Anyone
have an idea on why this is happening? When I get a chance I'll probably
download the latest version of LILO from freshmeat, but I don't know if that
will fix the problem.
