I had installed Mandrake 6.1 in my Win 98 box with partitioning.
After several weeks as I got another PC to play around with,
I decided to remove mandrake from that box. I did a cold format
after using fdisk to claim the space taken by Mandrake.
However, I see my HDD only 3.33 GB under win 98 where it should
be 4.9 (!). Interesting fact is on fdisk it says 4.9 gb but not
on windows. I have re installed (with new formatting) windows
now several times but experienced the same problem everytime.
My BIOS are fairly new so I know they support large disks.

Any clue anyone ?
