Been there. My SCSI drives worked under windows but not under linux.
What SCSI card are you using? I eventually used the kernel that comes in
debian to get my card working properly under linux. My kerrent kernel
have been based on that working config file since (trimmed down so only
what I need is there of course). After I got the termination going, all
was well. SCSI chains are just wierd.
