Sr. C/Linux Design/Developer-IT Project Leader

As the Senior C/Linux Designer/Developer - IT Project Leader for Ingenix, 
in the Claredi Healthcare Software Solutions group, you will participate 
on a team of developers designing and building healthcare EDI applications 
to facilitate interoperability between health care entities. 
The Senior C/Linux Design/Developer - IT Project Leader will work with a 
team of developers to design and develop software on a Linux platform with 
multiple aspects written in different languages.  A proven track record of 
IT solutions design and architecture, technical team and project 
leadership, end-to-end, full cycle applications development experience is 
required for this opportunity!

Required Technical Skills: 
        *5+ years C programming experience
        *3-5 years developing with scripting languages perl, bash, and/or 
php 
        *Thorough understanding of IP networking concepts
        *Thorough understanding and experience with Internet protocols 
such as FTP, HTTP, SFTP, HTTPS
        *Experience with data encryption and security - a big plus.
        *3-5 years of experience developing HTML and CSS with server, 
server side environments such as php, cgi-bin or asp.
        *3-5 years experience designing databases and writing SQL queries 
        *Demonstrated ability to solve problems across teams and software 
modules.
        *Experience architecting large scale systems with high volume 
throughput and performance requirements.
        *Ability to document and rationalize design decisions
        *Ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and by written 
means, with customers and management.
        *Demonstrated experience leading small to medium sized teams (2 to 
10 team members) in the development of commercial 
             products.
        *Experience with healthcare or healthcare service delivery 
companies - a plus
        *Experience with EDI (electronic data interchange) and standards 
such as ASC x.12N - a plus


        *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 
        *Designing, coding, debugging, documenting and supporting 
efficient and effective computer applications and tools consistent 
              with established specifications and business requirements. 
        *Key contributor in requirements definition of most complex 
business initiatives. 
        *Works at highest technical advisory level on the most difficult 
analysis and design assignments. Leads establishment of 
              systems development protocols and / or selection of systems 
management approach involving major company investments. 
        *Works with business partners to document complex company-wide 
acceptance test plans. 
        *Schedule, assign, direct, review and perform related follow-up 
and work coordination activities with others on technical team. 
        *Perform advisory role on complex projects. 
        *Plan, organize and lead technical aspects of large scale projects 
to successful conclusion. 
        *Perform general management functions in the absence of area 
manager. 
        *This position is considered a Senior Technical Subject Matter 
Expert. 
        *Extensive experience in complex projects with division or 
company-wide scope. 
        *Possession of broad understanding of company business issues and 
their integration with broad and complex information 
              systems applications. 
        *Effective communication skills, leadership skills, presentation 
skills, problem-solving skills, project management skills, teaming
              skills and organizational skills.
