Position Description: DUTIES: This position provides associate level research and analysis for planning, organizing to support corporate-wide e-mail security functions with E-mail Consultant. These functions consist of organizational and technical infrastructure, standards and procedures, MS security patch management and risk assessments, compliance, computer incident investigative support and consulting. Create and formalize documentation for Symantec Antivirus Mail gateways. Under minimal supervision, this role produces documented frameworks or architectures, which describe and are used to manage the implementation of technical security environments. This role researches developments in their assigned technology disciplines, determines business requirements, proposes changes, and develops migration and implementation plans as needed. This role provides input into the security technology plan for the organization and ensures that plans for their assigned technology discipline integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience - 5-7 years experience in UNIX e-mail administration or information security - A solid technical background working with PKI Infrastructure, management and administration in a distributed environment, Knowledge of UNIX, PERL environments, Symantec v.8, clean-up corruption of files - Ability to provide 24/7 rotation or as needed. - Understand technical problems and talk with all levels of management - Problem resolution in a team environment - CCSA, CCSE or CISSP a plus Region: MN Additional Location Details: Number of Openings: 1 Allow Right-to-Hire: Yes Estimated Time Until Conversion: 6 month(s) Please contact me if you are interested in this opening.
